An old Auraen legend tells us that the woods got its name for the wolves that first set foot here, how they were surprised at the crunching sound the snow made beneath their feet and the pawprints left behind them. At any rate, the woods are plentiful in deer and rabbit, serving as a primary hunting ground for the Azrelia pack.
